Questions & answers

Frequently asked questions.

Reporting, support, membership, donations: what you need to know.

01Who can file a report?

Anyone — a victim, a witness, a relative or a professional — when content or behaviour targets people because of their origin, religion, beliefs or opinions, online or in the media.

02Can my report be anonymous?

Yes: choose “Stay anonymous” at step four. We will then be unable to reply or support you. For the security of the service, the connection IP address is kept with the report.

03What do you do with my report?

The Collective’s board reviews it, guides you and, where necessary and with your consent, refers it to the competent bodies: the Pharos platform, Arcom, the public prosecutor.

04Is the Collective an emergency service?

No. In immediate danger, call 17 or 112.

05Can the Collective represent me in court?

No: representation in court is provided by lawyers. The Collective can support, and fund from earmarked funds, an action led by the lawyer you freely choose, by decision of its board.

06How much does it cost?

Reporting content and being guided is free.

07Which files can I attach?

Photos, videos, screenshots and screen recordings, PDFs, ZIP archives and audio files: up to 10 files of 50 MB each for a report, 5 files of 25 MB for a message.

08How do I become a member?

Write to us choosing “Membership” in the contact form. The board reviews each application; the fee is set by the general assembly.

09How can I donate?

From the website’s donation page: one-off or monthly gifts by card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, CB), Apple Pay, Google Pay, or in crypto (Bitcoin, Monero, Zcash, Solana, USDT). In line with the bylaws (art. 19), no gift is collected before the association’s bank account opens: until then, you can record a pledge there.

10Is the Collective religious or political?

No. It is independent of any political party, press group or denomination, and defends everyone’s freedom of conscience.
